Hagen Heesch, Managing Partner
Hagen Heesch is graduated as a civil engineer (Dipl.- Ing.) and has specialised in heavy construction works and offshore wind. He holds a lot of experience in processes management, certification- and permit management. As his studies focussed on the heavy construction engineering, he commenced his career as construction site manager and project manager in this field. In so doing he was responsible for managing the workforce in compliance with HSE standards and for completion of the projects on time and within budget.
Hagen Heesch has since worked for over ten years in the offshore wind industry in all phases, ranging from the design, fabrication and installation through to commissioning. In addition to design development and design management he is also responsible for the certification and approval of foundation structures, transformer substations and turbines, as well as supervising their transport, installation and commissioning. Working for DNV GL enabled him to extend his experience and his network of contacts in the field of certification and approval management.
Due to his high level of competence in the interface management of major construction projects and his professional expertise in optimising and efficiently managing technical certification and approval processes, Hagen Heesch adds a significant contribution to the commercial success of projects. This make it possible to reduce the financial risks of offshore wind projects and meet the targets of time and cost frameworks.
